Sheriff Grady is infamous on TikTok because of his press conferences. He doesn’t give a fuck about political correctness. He keeps the local Xerox/Kinkos open because he will show perpetrators faces in 4k. He will have them talk to each other sometimes too. And he will even put his own officers on blast if they are caught doing something. He’s a little unhinged.

I saw that documentary about sexual assault Rod, it was heart breaking. So many people already don’t report it sexual assault. Less than 3% of perpetrators get convicted. There is a backlog of rape kits, some don’t even get processed. It is so gross that victims are being prosecuted. There are still police departments who don’t know how to properly handle sexual assault cases. They will throw the victim into an interrogation room with two male officers who start grilling them.

What is super unfortunate is that there are people who lie. I had a former friend lie multiple times about being raped while in college. I believed her 100% the first few times. But when we got up to 6 times in one year I had to look at her sideways. Like…don’t blame the victim but at the same time we really need to look into some of your choices because that seems like an abnormally high number of times… she never wanted to report them or get tested. I started noticing a pattern where when one of our mutual friends went out with her boyfriend, something would happen. I ended up looking at her email and saw her admit to someone she was lying about it because she didn’t like when this friend left her for a man. I hated that it got to the point where I felt the need to invade her privacy and that there is this very small voice that sometimes says but is this person lying? Because it is already so fucking hard for victims of sexual assault to get help. I very quickly dropped that person as a friend and said she needed to get psychological help because it was not ok what she was doing.
