I don't know if I have the patience to learn how to deal with torrents and such at the moment, but I am really looking forward to hearing all 74 hrs.

I only caught a bit here and there at really weird times of the day, but I did get to:
- donate during the official show
- enjoy live katg, which is so very rare for me
- chat a little - also very rare for me
- call in and geek out with spooky and matt b
- see teddypickers posts...well done!
- catch the official 72 hr mark and catch most of the 'aftershow'

Sadly, I missed 99% of the guests and happenings. But yay for having a shit-ton of katg to look forward to.

I don't know if this has been covered yet, but have or will Guinness recognize this as a world record? I thought they had to be present to make it official. That could just be something I thought I heard, though. Do you submit the whole 74 hour file as proof? It would be very cool to see in their book next year.

My (former) workplace broke the world record for the most amount of Daleks in one place. It takes a while for Guinness to do it. Re: them being present, I don't think they had to be, since there's audio and video proof with at least 600 witnesses.

Yeah, some records require Guinness to be there, but for something like this, there is legitimate proof, so it shouldn't be an issue. I can imagine Guinness being slow, I'm sure people are trying to break shit all the time on top of making new categories.

thery are putting up small sections, BJason is putting the big file together, if you missed him on todays show.

Are you sure Bjason is putting together the big file? I had thought they wanted him to do the 1-2 hour edited pieces that they would release over the feed and then later they would release the entire 74 over torrent or something.
