I think Keith and Chemda are really smart to keep doing it their own way. Do any of the shows on Podshow really think Adam Curry gives a damn about them?
Sounds like a pyramid scheme, sorta. For example - Adam chucks in an ad for Subway at the beginning of each of the 10 podcasters shows in his web of terror and gets his cut of the money for it. Each show thinks, "Great, money in my pocket!". Adam laughs, then when he gets 20 podcasters on board - his money from the advertisers doubles but the podcasters get the same amount. I don't know if that came across right but all I basically wanted to say was; FUUUUUUUUUCK YOU (not in a nice KATG way tho) to Podshow, and high fives to Keith and Chemda for doin it on their own. You'll show those fools how it's done. |

Sweet. I just found out we have a Scientology Church in my town. As it happens, Tom Cruise did spend some years here in high school. I suppose he gave the permission for this branch to open, since apparently he is good at brainwashing and controls the "religion".

The contract is AWESOME -- you have to post it somewhere so that I can steal pieces of it. I've never read (or even written - and I am kind of a bastard when writing contracts) something so one-sided.
The best part is it would be SO easy to create something that is much more mutually beneficial, but they just said "Nahh, let's screw 'em all!" Keep up the good work. |

Woot Woot!
Thanks for the shout out Keith and Chemda, you guys rock! Matthew is my middle name. My mum was supposed to call me "Buen Matteo Reyes" but my dad just said "Fuck that, I don't want my kid to get beats and purple nurple at school!". So he just wrote Ben Matthew Reyes on my birth certificate, I believe without telling my mum. Im Filipino, just have to state. http://myspace.com/benmatthew |

Damn, I had no idea that the contract would be that bad, and all this pretty much for some good hosting. Have to say that Keith and Chemda paying $30 a month is a hell of a lot better deal.
You would have thought the "Podfather" would have made podcasting some sort of Utopia. Wishful thinking I guess. |
