I saw Surrogates when it was at the cinema. It gives an interesting feeling of vulnerability at times, but I don't think it's really convincing me to watch it again.
Also for some reason I never remember the name. I suppose it's trying to bring to mind the protective cocoon of the womb, but whenever I reach for a name Avatar pops into my head. |

Surrogates:
I recall liking it. Something weird going on with his hairpiece. |

I don't think I'm going to watch it again. Here was my comment from the what movie did you last watch thread.
Surrogates I could take it or leave it. Some shit happens, some of it is mildly entertaining. Action isn't great, story isn't great. C- |

I just finished watching Surrogates. It was enjoyable but it's definitely the kind of movie that's pretty forgettable. It was a clever idea but *spoilers*was anyone else reminded of Wall-E during the end scene with everyone rediscovering the real world. Interesting that Disney was involved with both movies.

Okay im only half way through the film but this has been annoying me ever since i noticed it:
If you have an army of robots that you can control, why make them humans? i mean humans have flaws right? Plus your fighting other humans so it gives you much less of an advantage if you make your robots human. Humans are not as fast, or as strong or agile as other creatures so why make them human? why not make an army of robot land sharks that shoot lasers? it doesn't make sense! Other than that it seems pretty good but ill comment when ive seen it the full thing |
