Last night I was interviewed by The Vital Idol “Classy” Mike Trash on his syndicated show Trash Talking Radio. We discussed a whole bunch of shit like my rap career, hosting the Original Geeks Podcast and how I got started in the pro wrestling business. Enjoy the interview.

Ian Daddybones

* Started out as a local rapper in 2002 with Peter Briggs forming Twin Widow Mafia. A lot of depression, drugs, and dumb decisions helped fuel what ever needed to come out of me creatively.
* Released 2 albums Insult 2 Injury and Galactic Hempire in 2005 and 2006.
* Started working on a solo album Daddybones the Musical in 2008 but released it in 2010.
* Still make beats and write occasionally but not my main focus at the moment. I spend time hyping other indy bands and local guys.

The OGPC

* Started the Original Geeks Podcast in 2007 with Brian Daniel aka Jiinx the Dedpool.
* Started out as Jiinx and I rambling about everything we are into and tried having segments but it jus turned to mostly talk and comedy. We also play tracks from local and indy musicians, and try to get interviews with people of somewhat fame and and are doing their thing just as we are.
* Expanded our team with other local talents like author Paul Juser, media consultant and business owner Scott Fineout, local rapper and graphics designer Big Drew, local DJ Frozone, and professional wrestler Sean Carr.
* Re-launched our website in early 2010 that has seen more than a 200% increase in our audience, made it simpler to do anything.
* My wife Amber has become the new co host and adds a spice to the show and another layer that sees us more talking about our real lives, raising our kids, our extended blended family, in laws, outlaws etc on top of the wrestling, video game, music, movie and tv rants that I always did.

Wrestling

* Been watching wrestling since age of 5 after watching Hart Foundation vs Killer Bees. Always a WWF guy not a WCW guy until my teenage years.
* Always wanted to be a wrestler, but new my physical limitations and what body God gave me was not made to do what they do.
* Became hooked on ECPW in 2009 after reading an interview conducted by a friend and contacted Keith Zimmer about an interview about an upcoming show.
* Few months later my friend Sean starts training for ECPW which pulled me in a little more.
* Started going to shows selling (mostly not selling) OGPC t-shirts and having a gimmick table at ECPW Empire State shows ad filming matches.
* In the late spring/ early summer I started traveling with the DOS and Sean Carr to New Jersey and Buffalo for other shows in other companies, still filming matches and what not.
* I was asked to be the ring announcer for 3DW, do interviews, and I along with Scott Fineout are Just Us League Productions, we handle the filming, and production of 3DW’s upcoming local TV show 3DW Monster in addition to DJ Frozone handling sound, and music for the shows.
* We have a show this Friday in Binghamton New York for 3DW
* Just produced my first television commercial for 3DW that played during RAW, Smackdown, and TNA Impact!

We drink a pretty decent American Belgian-Style Ale this week and our whores end up on glitter knees over it. Groundhog’s Day is flawed and we describe why. There’s music from the breakup of The White Stripes to the evolution of Wheelchair Jimmy to a man called Drake.

Someone told Jay-Z and Willow Smith that producing another version of Annie was a great idea in 2011. That musical’s not dated at all. We predict the Super Bowl and move on to a few articles born from failure (I’m Married But Still A Virgin and D&D Threatens Prison Security) and dumb luck (Victim Treats Mugger Right). It wouldn’t be a Rhian episode without some Whore News (or at least some whoring) and she brings us two this week. First is a story of a Woman Arrested For Mooning Cops and how a Tattoo On A Penis Won A Man A Car. This is a short one (That's What Rhi Said) so enjoy!
