You know, I couldn't agree more... about finding the right game, not Bastion in particular. You people have definitely persuaded me to take a better look into this game, so I downloaded the trial today. It was very cool. I'm definitely purchasing full tomorrow.

As for pinkielarue's comment... I nod approvingly at Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.

Hey, did anyone here who bought L.A. Noire actually finish it? I just realized that I got to vice then didn't really give a shit anymore haha.

Ya. It has leaderboards to compare to other players but that's it.

I've been playing so much Dawn of War 2 I kind of feel like buying Space Marine now even though a third person shooter from an RTS developer surely can't be anything but mediocre/bad.

Been playing through The Sly Cooper Collection on PS3, first game was pretty good, looking forward to hitting the second one. Never played these on PS2, pretty good value even if they are older games.

Spent the last few days playing my roommate's PS3 while he's away. Here are some game reviews of stuff on his shelf:

Red Dead Redemption: aces 10. Lol at Keith not being able to get past the horse race.

Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare: meh, but maybe that's because I spent 2 days playing RDR right before. I quit after having to save Thieve's landing because it seems like you have to conserve ammo too much, which makes the game not fun at all.

Assassin's Creed II: thumbs up, but gets repetitive after a while. I got the best armor and have more money than I know what to do with, but I don't see anything new coming in this game so I'm too bored to finish it.

God of War III: ghey

Metal Gear Solid 4: initially thought it sucked, but it's growing on me

You really didn't like God of War? I love the entire series, especially 3.

I've been playing Darksiders the last couple of days. Seems to be a Zelda/God of War mashup. I love it.

Playing a lot of Black ops and Modern Warfare 2. Recently started replaying Mass Effect 2 in anticipation for ME3.

Red Dead is fucking boring. The fundamental game design is the exact same game I've been playing since GTA 3.

I liked Red Dead Redemption. I think the reason Keith didn't like it is because of the differences it has from GTA games.
