I just read Michael Ian Black's book, My Custom Van. I think it was all new material too, not like other comedian's books.

I went through a period of being absorbed with all things 9/11. John O'Neill emerged as one of the most fascinating and complex heroes of that time.

I just finished this again the other day.

Yeah, I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was interesting and humorous. And it's one of those books you can just read a few pages of, or a hole chunk of at a time.

I just finished reading "The Man Who Ate His Boots" which is a book about the search for the Northwest passage, its really interesting. I also just read "The Ghost Map" about the Cholera epidemic in London in the 1800s. Also really good is "The Family That Couldn't Sleep" which is about Fatal Familial Insomnia which is now the way of dying I fear the most.

One of those short novels (120 pages) that you should sit down and read in one sitting.
Greatest opening line though "One the day they were going to kill him, Santiago Nasar got up at 5:30 in the morning to wait for the boat the bishop was coming on."
