I Agree with Rod 100%, there is soooo much hate speech in these shows. First, Trump said "He Loves to eat cats, dogs, & some larger birds, smaller birds stick in his teeth" I think he said, His wife, an immigrant, introduced him to dog sausages and steaks. Second you all got that goose story all mixed up. Trump said "Look at that "Covfefe" he has 2 geese. Where are my geese?"....."That "Covfefe" has 2 and I don't have any! Where's MY DIET COKE"

I'm sorry, I had to fact check that last post. Apparently the 2 geese, where killed by an automobile, near Columbus, OH. Which is not terribly far from Springfield, OH, the town Trump and Vance have chosen to sh@t on. I cannot say where the picture was take, but actual news said the man did not eat the geese. In Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Tale" the barbaric characters smoke a fatty with a goose at Christmas. ... I guess geese are more fun high?

I was in my senior year of high school. It was the end of economics class. My teacher always put CNN on when he was done teaching because he felt like we should be aware of what was going on. I remember seeing the smoke from the first plane and then seeing the second plane hit. No one usually watched except me so they didn’t believe me when I said another plane hit. We had no idea what was going on. Pretty soon after that the school told all teachers to not have the TVs on. And this was during a time when cell phones were not common place-you usually had a business reason for having one or you had a lot of money. The only way to get information was through the news at the time.
When I went home my dad told me to go get gas because the rumor was that we were going to be going to war with the Middle East where we got gas and they were afraid of the prices sky rocketing. I went by a few and saw the lines wrapped around the block several times and I had to pick my siblings up so I decided not to get the gas. I was trying to ask my parents what was happening and if my dad should be worried because he was an air traffic controller. They told me we had nothing to worry about and my dad didn’t think things would be too different. When he went to work the next day he said that there were zig zag concrete barriers outside his work place and he had to get out of his car, allow a search to happen as well as be searched himself. I think that went on for a week. I recently watched two documentaries about 9/11- The falling man which is on Pluto and the NAUDET brothers 9/11 documentary which is on YouTube without ads. Hearing the sounds of the people jumping from the trade center lobby is haunting. Realizing that some religious beliefs about suicide really impacted the ability for people to see pictures of people jumping-like god wouldn’t have made an exception in that case. It is rumored that some people were shoved out by others in the panic, other people didn’t know they were going out a window because of how thick the smoke was-they probably thought it was a hallway light. Watching those documentaries made me realize how easy it is to get information now which I don’t know is a good thing. Imagine if fucking TikTok and Facebook and Instagram live existed back then. Even the brothers who were filming in the trade center lobby, which was after the first crash, saw people on fire and opted to not film that out of respect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Littlp, Did you go to a public high school? Economics class, was the hardest class I've ever taken. I took in at University, but the answer was always the opposite of whatever i thought. What was the thinking of shut off the tv's? This was a turning point in History, and you cannot protect the students from this event.

I did go to a public high school. I think they wanted students to focus on class versus events they had no control over. And didn’t have the answers to as to why and how. It’s hard to believe that back then smart phones didn’t exist. Only way to get information was from the news. It still was the only thing we were talking about though because how could we not?
