www.kongreate.com has thousands of free flash and browser games. A couple that yall have already mentioned but check out the front page for all of the most popluar ones. Dolphin olympics 2 rocks

Compulse is a puzzle game where the aim to get the ball into the goal using directional tiles, the less tiles the better.

It mixes it up with door tiles you have to hit before the goal opens and portals. Relaxing music too.

Meant to post this earlier but Command and Conquer Gold is free here. Classic rts, well worth it for the cheesy cut scenes alone.

Sadly it's a bit of a fiddle:

It's a heafty download but this is 2008, suck it up.
They are iso files, burn them to cds.
It won't play online multiplayer because this game came out when modems were new technology.
Works in xp, make sure you read all the instructions.
Not sure about Vista, try using dos box.
Might not work with ATI cards - did they support opengl yet?

Ok to make up for the above post being fiddlesome, here are some simpler free full games.

Rockstar games have GTA1, GTA2 and Wild Metal Country for free here.

Far Cry, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Rayman's Raving Rabbids are all free in ad supported versions.

Far Cry is an open world first person shooter set on a tropical island where you have special abilities. I spent 85% of my time crashing speedboats into things and 10% of my time laughing about crashing speedboats into things.

Prince of Persia is a platformer, very parkor, a bit tomb raider with swords. You can fiddle with time a bit. Lots of fun.

Rayman's Raving Rabbids is the lightest of the bunch. It's a collection of mini games, the entertaining 'Rabbids' make it worth a play.

Oh crap, it's 5am, I'm going to bed.

Doeo
A simple game were you have to gather the Doeo's who pop up all over ther place. Great fun, loved the music.
