Now that I've got my "gaming rig" (new Macbook ) I've been catching up:
Portal, Max Payne 2 (loved the first one!) and Far Cry so far...

Still trying to rank up in Halo 3.

Got owned by a female clan last night (xDPx Snow White, xDPx Cinderella, xDPx Belle, xDPx Pocahontas); not very high in EXP or Skill levels, but they knew their shit. Our team figured it would be a snap.

Great games all but if you're playing the first Far Cry, make sure you throw the disc out of the window before you get to the last levels.

Im dying to play "Mirrors Edge" except im concerned it wont be a long game and as amazing as 8 hrs of rooftop acrobatics and chase sequences may be I just cant be sure its worth 60 bucks.

Im sending my gf on her lunch break to try and rent one of the 5 copies available at blockbuster this wednesday.

Wish me luck.

Im about 50 hours into fallout3. I got pretty far in the main quest and its about time I stray off the main quest path and do some exploring. I need to find a few parts so I can build my "rock-et" launcher and start shooting random objects at enemies for fun (its not a typical rocket launcher, it shoots any garbage you put inside of it)

I had shitloads of fun playing the Mirrors Edge demo - it was the first game I played on my 100" projector screen and the first time I've heard a game in 5.1 properly. It genuinely got my heart pumping during the chases and hearing the gun shots sling by your heard was aces 10. I'd worried too whether or not it would get repetitive but from the reviews I've seen it keeps uping the ante throughout.
