Instantly in my top three favorite VIP shows
Great job, Libby! You thought the show went long, but it honestly didn't feel long enough. You and Danny always have great chemistry, and it definitely came through on your first episode. The format is super interesting. I love the behind the scenes stuff. You've always been among the most naturally funny and charismatic of the KATG family, so it was great to hear you closer to the microphone, instead of hidden in the cheap seats (though it sounds like a lot of hilarious things happen back there). And, of course, the laugh is even better when it's front and center. I knew this would be one of my fave shows even before I heard it, and I was not disappointed. So happy to see it in my feed yesterday. It was a welcome companion to the ride home from my job in Dullsville, USA. I'll be looking forward to your new eps every week. Thank you!

I'm loving this show so far. And I love that you include the show numbers of the ones that you talk about!
And the complaints about the laughing is so fucking stupid. It is a comedy podcast, people should laugh. Those who hate people laughing in the background better brace yourselves because August 22 I'll be redeeming my Kickstarter reward...and I will be laughing, heartedly, with no fucks given about what people think about my laugh. I can't wait for future episodes of this |

Chemda was not wrong
Great show, Libby, but your example of Chemda's lacking pop culture knowledge was poorly chosen. There were allegations of abuse from Heather Mills about Paul McCartney. For a long time it was discussed on the show. She was probably remembering this:
Mills claims McCartney stabbed, abused her - today > entertainment - today > entertainment > celebs - TODAY.com Paul claimed that she lied, and they divorced. There were allegations, at the very least. Chemda should receive an apology on your next episode. Or maybe a special episode just for the apology. Fair's fair. |

I love it. I'm so happy this is a thing now. I'm not sure a condom wrapper was the best way to play it trying to get people to tattoo the logo but it'll make it that much more impressive if it happens. Aces babillion.

(To be clear, the above was posted before I finished the show, or had even reached a specific point in the episode. It's just a joke, and wasn't intended as any kind of retaliation for--well, stuff.)
I'm not homophobic. It's worse: I'm extremely dry and very often too ironic/sardonic for my own good. As Danny pointed out, I think I'm funny. I'd continue to try to explain myself, but I'm not getting a good signal under this desk and it must be pretty dusty because both of my eyes are starting to water, making it too difficult to see the screen of my phone. |
