Loved the first one (one of my favorite games ever), liked the second one, so I'm anxious to see how this one will turn out.

Also, the voiceover of Adam (main character) sounds mysteriously like Christian Bale a la Dark Knight/Terminator 4.

I would never say "Fuck Valve" but I also have no interest giving them my attention until their games are ready. You can lump Blizzard into this category. Enjoy paying 60$ for 1/3 of a game starcrafters. Speaking of blizzard im going to go play Diablo 3 (i.e. Torchlite)

On a brighter note and MAJORLY related to gaming. My gf and I bought a brand new couch, and it will arrive today. Soft plush leather with full reclining capabilities, finally no more sleepy ass from my freebie 1970s furniture.

Some serious gaming is going to go down today in blissful comfort.

Valve and Blizzard are both developers who iterate, test, iterate until their games are absolutely ready. They already have plenty of great games to play and the reason they're great is exactly because they are products of perfectionism. I want to play them too but only when Valve and Blizzard and happy with them.

I understand this, but one can get so much teasing without getting blueballs.

I get that they enjoy keeping my attention alive, but truncating a storyline at a highly emotional point and then letting me wait years to see how it ends is something that would piss off anyone in any othwer form of storytelling oriented entertainment.

I'm not the one who decided to make the series emotionally involving, they did. And cliffhangers work until you procrastinate too much the resolution. After that people loose (naturally) involvement AND interest. They're the beta testing master, they should know better.
