Its pretty much the Xbox 360 that would have been made if they didn't rush their original design phase.

Internal Hard-Drive, Wifi (cant believe this wasnt inside the original), Whisper quiet fans/disc drive, and all three outputs (HDMI, Compos, optical out) are 3 separate connections. I have had this problem since for some crazy reason my tvs optical out stopped working and since I use HDMI, I have no optical output to use anymore.

Of all the Kinect-natal bullshit, the one that seemed the coolest game would be the Rockband dance game. IF it works well and actually challenges you to dance accurately. It could be fun for parties, exercise and humiliation.

That's what I mean. If you report for a gaming website or something, chances are you already have quite a bit of experience with the 360, so why would you care if someone gave you a new one? I know I wouldn't.

(I would care if I was given one, because I don't currently have a 360 (and I would sell it anyway -- I need the money))

I think no matter how good natal-kinect performs as a casual game controller-free experience, the casual market still doesn't need a second 300$ toy to not play with.

The wii "Casual" market is a giant lie; they went bowling for a weekend and will one day sell their dusty bowling machine on a Sunday morning garage sale.

Most of them have already spent 500$ on an Ipad, they are not going to want this.

I don't think it's a matter of getting journalists to care. Since they already don't care, they probably wouldn't go out and buy one, which means they wouldn't talk about the differences between the new and the old 360s.

But if they give the most prominent members of the gaming press new 360s for free, those journalists will talk about the differences, because it's relevant to their job.

Marketing just wants a mouth on their corporate dick; they don't care if you enjoy sucking.

Nintendo knocked it out of the park! Shaky start with Zelda control issues but then Metroid, Donkey Kong, Epic Mickey, Goldeneye on the Wii

The 3DS with Kid Icarus looks gorgeous and they had interviews with developers including Kojima, who is making a Metal Gear Solid on the 3DS.

Strong press conference, maybe one of their best.

The Lara Croft trailer sold me by its looks. Looks like a mashup of assault heroes+Prince of persia+Zelda. Seems like a fail proof formula to me.

Limbo looks like Tim Burton's take on a mario game. Looks pretty original and interesting.

I really wish nintendo would push for new IPs everything they showed was just a derivative of something thats already come out, and by new IPs I dont mean the silly casual gamer stuff (wiifit, wiiparty, etc)
