I completed Borderlands (not the dlc though). It was roughly an enjoyable 40 hours of game-play to complete every mission. Pretty awesome experience, well worth whatever discounted price tag you may find it for.

So I just got Bad Company 2 as an alternative to TF2. Its pretty decent and the visuals and team play is nice but it suffers from too many randoms douches that screw the team over. Thats the shitty thing about online gaming :/

I would love to know how many hours me and my mate have wasted... no not wasted... cherised! playing the 4 nazi zombie levels on World at War. Sometimes I forget that there is actually a whole campaign to play through aswell. I'm currently finishing infamous (trying to find one last blast shard) then got Uncharted 2 to play - really looking forward to that game, heard very good things. |

I own a Xbox 360 myself. Just got done beating Fallout 3 and all of it's addons except one of them I absolutely loved the game. As far as the console I prefer though I would have much rather bought a PS3, but due to money and none of my friends having one I went with the cheaper Xbox 360. Really looking forward to the new Fallout that is set to release this fall.

Did the deed and canceled my membership. I need to mail Dante's Inferno within a week...so I might get a bit further...I also rented Resistance: Fall of Man, I didn't care for it too much...the story wasn't compelling enough and nothing was that unique. It was kinda fun though.

It's a pretty good game. It definitely wishes it were God of War, but it's not and that's okay. It's kinda/sorta based on Dante's Inferno, duh...which is pretty wicked. The visuals, the different levels of hell and the minions and firey-bat things....all the enemies and what not...everything just looks really cool. I like the "Holy" and "Unholy" moves...the idea of "absolving" your enemies is neat. I'm not very far into the game, maybe 1/5 or 1/4 but I'm enjoying it. I've heard mixed reviews from people...
Some say it's shit, some it's okay, some it's great. I'd give it a 7, I wouldn't pay $50 for it (but I'm also a broke college student and wouldn't pay $50 for almost anything)...but if you don't mind the money, or if you can play it by renting or borrowing...it's definitely worth a try. You can get a free demo, if you haven't played it. It's pretty much the very first 15 minutes of gameplay of the game..or so. |
