I bought the THQ pack so I can now officially flashback to my highschool nastalgia love for poorly painted pewter war via Warhammer 40k Dawn of war 2.

Plus all the other awesome games like Red faction guerilla, Stalker, Full spectrum warrior, Company of heroes and Saints Row 2.

Its like 370 bucks worth of games for 50$

OH SHITT IM EXCITED TO PLAY SOME PC GAMES!!!!

That's how I get you! I got the same bundle for that price too (had less in it, mind) one of the best bargains on steam.

I wonder how well Red faction guerilla and stalker are going to run on my laptop.

Im also pretty excited to play full spectrum warrior, I loved that game for xbox and imagine its even cooler for pc. Plus I never played the sequel.

Dont know anything about "company of heroes" or "Titan Quest" or "world of zoo"

For some reason world of zoo doesn't show up in my library. strange, I'm sure steam support is as awesome as everything else about the platform.

Is the first Dawn of war good? should I play it first? or does it not matter at all?

Dawn of War 1 and 2 are very different games. The first is a tradition RTS with some nice idea and the second is an RTS/RPG hybrid. They have a connected story but since it's mostly about men shouting and fighting, you can play them however you want to.

Titan Quest is a very pretty Diablo clone and Company of Heroes is similar to Dawn of War 2 (both by Relic) and similarly brilliant.

World of Zoo, uh...well, it's cute. Steam support is great, each game has it's own forum in addition to the general ones, you can get there via the game's store page.

Thanks for the clarification.

Hopefully we can play some multilayer WH40KoW2 soon. I loved the demo, and I love the source material.

This pack of games has come at a good time since in about a month I will be sent to work on a site 6 hours away from home. I will be bunkered up in a free hotel with free food and pc games galore.

I kind of regret buying L42 and TF2 (besides the fun I had at the virtual meetup) for 20 more dollars I could of had the Valve pack.

Oh well, I already played most of those, so not exactly a heart breaking loss. and a total 40 dollars for tf2/l4d2 is not a rip off in any way.

Is DoW2 cheap enough for it to be considered as a future KATG gamenight? I am so the fuck in if so. Would *love* to play with non-hardcore people.
