I think it's also interesting that Egypt offered to allow the relief column to come through it's territory, on the condition that their customs officials be allowed to inspect the cargo. The organizers of the flotilla declined the offer. It sounds like they either were carrying arms, or they wanted to provoke a reaction from Israel, or both.

Yeah, that's why I only posted the link. I'm alarmed by the narrative on the tv and internet news in this story (I don't dare even look at the newspapers), even the BBC seems biased these days.
