I put over 100 hours into Fallout 3 in only two or three weeks. I had to sell it for my own good...

But, I do plan to go go pick it up again and get the expansions. Are they good?

Yeah, I've got a good 80 in between two playthroughs over the past six months or so.

I've only played Operation Anchorage which I think is garbage. I hear The Pitt is basically a glorified weapons expansion and I haven't heard much about Broken Steel, but the raised level cap and changes to the ending are enough for me.

Think I am going to start playing fallout 3 again didn't really give it that much of a chance, if I get bored of that again I will just start playing oblivion again and buy the two expansion packs.

I really believe you've just gotta give Fallout a good five or six hours to really sink into, once you get out of the vault and can spend a decent amount of time finding stuff to do in the wasteland. Don't waste your time with the main quest up front, it's more of an afterthought. Except for Tranquility Lane, that is.

Those (PC users) who don't have the Fallout 3 DLC may want to wait - they'll all be on one disc soon for 20 bucks or there abouts. Sidesteps the asinine microsoft marketplace nicely.

The disc has only Operation Anchorage and The Pitt.

Some site leaked news of a disc of Broken Steel and something else, but that hasn't been confirmed. Needless to say, Broken Steel won't be out on a disc for awhile.

Ah, I see. I'd still prefer to buy it that way though.

Standardman's posting of his desktop made me look up Peggle Nights. Neither I nor the boyfriend have been able to stop playing it. I went over a friend's house and he had it up on the xbox and i went all and he went all "You Peggle? I'll kick your ass!" and I was all "It's on!"

I'm so out of the loop.

Ha, I feel like I just got you into crack. The amazing thing about Peggle is just how widely available it is - PC (obviously), consoles, iphone (soon), ipod, DS and even World of Warcraft - insane.
