I think the game is worth that price tag.

Wait a second, what was Half-Life: Source then? I thought that already was HL1 using the source engine.

They created Source for HL2 (im pretty sure thats the first game to use the engine)

I dont know if they were really naming Graphic engines back in the HL1 days.

Valve did port Half Life 1 into source when Half Life 2 was released but they obviously didn't spend a lot of time redoing the textures and models to the extent that these guys did. I haven't played HL1 since it first came out and seeing a lot of the scenes from it has piqued my interest in playing through it again. What an amazing game that was/is - especially for its time, there was nothing else that immersed me into it that I can remember.

Except maybe Full Throttle - wish they hadn't dumped the sequel.
