I can honestly say that MW2 improved over the first MW in most ways, but it had a bit of a sidestep (or backstep depending on interpretation) in the areas of story, length, general single-player missions. MW1 is still the better game in my opinion, but MW2 is still pretty good - better on veteren than any other difficulty.

On another note, I bought Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age, and Assassins Creed 2 all at around the same time as MW2... I only have one major paper left and I'm going to need every minute of my 2 week extension to get it done because of these friggin games. I officially have a problem now.
I might actually fail African-American Studies because of Modern Warfare 2.

Just beat Assassins Creed 2. I wasn't really into the ending. The last fight was anti-climatic, and ended more as a "to be continued..." which I cannot stand.

And those Glyph puzzles are a pain in the ass.

Gonna start on God of War 1 & 2 tomorrow.

I borrowed Uncharted (the first) from work, an I'm really rather impressed. The shooting when out of cover isn't great but shooting from cover, the climbing, the visuals, the vistas, the characters and the writing are very impressive.

It's nice to play a game where the characters resemble believable people, rather than interchangeable raging steroid nuts or blank slate space marines.

The second one shits all over the first. In a good way. In a sexy way.

Lately I've been getting into old Resident Evil Games via Playstation Network and my PSP. Code Veronica is my fave of all the oldies, but they only have 1-3.

I've only really had time to dive into the third one (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis) thoroughly as of late, but I think it still holds up great and is a blast to play. The moment when you are leaving the Police Station that you've been hiding from the Nemesis in and he bust through the window still scared me all these years later.

Anyone else dig Resident Evil? Still think the old titles hold up?

Completed Uncharted, liked most of it a great deal, the third act and the final boss? Absolute bullshit and against the design choices of everything else in the game.

Respek knuckles, Code Veronica is the under appreciated Resident Evil, and the first big step the series made out of the old style that led them to the fourth game. I played it on the Dreamcast, which also doesn't get enough love. Show me your VMUs and say it proud: I had a Dreamcast!

Still love the old games, controls take some getting used to. The remake of the first game on the GameCube/Wii was great too, they really need to do that for Resident Evil 2.
