Just beat Assassins Creed 2. I wasn't really into the ending. The last fight was anti-climatic, and ended more as a "to be continued..." which I cannot stand.
And those Glyph puzzles are a pain in the ass. Gonna start on God of War 1 & 2 tomorrow. |

I borrowed Uncharted (the first) from work, an I'm really rather impressed. The shooting when out of cover isn't great but shooting from cover, the climbing, the visuals, the vistas, the characters and the writing are very impressive.
It's nice to play a game where the characters resemble believable people, rather than interchangeable raging steroid nuts or blank slate space marines. Any thoughts? |

Lately I've been getting into old Resident Evil Games via Playstation Network and my PSP. Code Veronica is my fave of all the oldies, but they only have 1-3.
I've only really had time to dive into the third one (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis) thoroughly as of late, but I think it still holds up great and is a blast to play. The moment when you are leaving the Police Station that you've been hiding from the Nemesis in and he bust through the window still scared me all these years later. Anyone else dig Resident Evil? Still think the old titles hold up? |

Completed Uncharted, liked most of it a great deal, the third act and the final boss? Absolute bullshit and against the design choices of everything else in the game.

Still love the old games, controls take some getting used to. The remake of the first game on the GameCube/Wii was great too, they really need to do that for Resident Evil 2.
