I kinda wish we could all hive mind for a second, go, hey we don't like the current establishment, and do something as a collective whole to change the system. Because as we currently protest and what not, small fringe groups fighting for x rights or to end y wrongs...we almost never get anywhere. But if we could all as one strong unit go....hey let's change ____. Then maybe something would get done.

again a movie i have seen. but it was in that time frame where i kind of remember it but not enough to mini-review it. i remember i liked it and really enjoyed the giant balloon suit thing. And the whole tricking bbc by saying a company was going to do something morally good and have that company's stocks go down something like 5%.

oh shite. what movie do i pick, im overwhelmed. do i pick another documentary (man on wire), or something that got mixed reviews and if the first shitty movie in the film club could get me kicked out (brick), or the oldest thing in my queue (naked lunch). so taking all into consideration (including available streaming and available to the "pirates in the bay"), something i hope people will like, "The Man From Earth".
it keeps with the sci-fi theme that has seemed to go over well and even takes a page from TFINYR and wasn't rated by the mpaa. **crosses fingers, awaits responses**

Have you guys considered making this a Thursday night chat party film club. We could all watch the movie at the same time and chat.

Granted a portion of people wont be available at the same time, but we could always take our discussions to the forum thread for everyone else who couldn't make the live viewing.

Thoughts?

I think that if we incorporate it into our current plan it could work, like whatever movie we have on tap for thursday is the one we watch during chat (unless my movie killed this thread, which it seems like it did
