I heard there's an dev console code in the first game to do multiple separate pairs of Portals, never tried it though.

Just picked up Shadow Complex today. That game seems mildly broken in some really entertaining ways. I like it.

The original text from that gamestop slip:

Quote:
Coming this holiday. Portal 2 is the sequel to 2007's Game of the Year and draws from the award-winning formula of innovative game play, story, and music that earned the original over 70 industry accolades. Features single and multiplayer co-op modes. The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game. The game’s two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.

I've been meaning to replay HL at some point, Junk. Hearing that it's still good makes me eager to do it soon.

I've been playing a lot of Chime recently on XBLA. It's a puzzle game a bit like Tetris but instead of the blocks falling down from the top of the screen, you're placing them on a grid, connecting them together to both clear the shapes and cover the grid underneath. The aim is to cover the whole grid with cleared shapes but the game also has the Lumines line that comes across the screen and it really interacts with the music, 'playing' the blocks.

This probably makes no sense to read so i'll embed a trailer:

Got it? Good. I'm finding it quite compulsive, there's a nice mix of competing on leaderboards and enjoying the music (from Philip Glass, Paul Hartnoll, Moby, Markus Schulz and Fred Deakin) and it's become my chill out game after frantic 360 shooting. I'd recommend trying the demo, it's only 400 points and all the money goes to charity too.

Steam's weekend sale is Toki Tori, a fun puzzle platformer starring a yellow penguin. Half price, £1.62.
