To be fair, I've only completed Gears 2 on Normal. I was waiting to finish Gears 1 on Hardcore, which I did this morning, so I'll be replaying Gears 2 soon.

I do agree that the vehicle portions was kind of hokey. Nevertheless you'll enjoy Hardcore better!

The vehicle portions still were alot better than the abysmal vehicle part of Gears 1.

I don't remember as much vehicular emphasis on GOW1.

I think it's just the section in that vehicle with the UV light mounted on top. It did suck with all the Kryll swooping at your face, but at least it was short-lived and didn't require me to reload the checkpoint 8 fucking times.

OK I just got Left 4 Dead (money and Steam issues) and I hope that my "friends" on Steam are still playing it (please still be playing it). Anyway, just thought I'd mention it and hope to play co-op with you guys soon.

I want to get left 4 dead, but I think I will wait until after the holidays so i dont spend useful gifting money.
A kid in my computer class has been trying to get me to buy Rainbow Six Vegas 2 so we can play online, but I bought the first one (because it was cheap used) and it was shitty, I couldn't get through 10 minutes of it. However, he swears to me that the second one is like a totally different game and will love it. So, I guess unless I hear differently, I'll be getting that one as well.

and GOW2 of course! Loving the first one, about 3/4ths done
